Love Letter To Jeremy Scott--

He has done it once again. I am completely obsessed with Mr. Scott some may call it unhealthy I call it love. He makes fashion fun, goes overboard yet completely desirable at the same time. His showing at New York Fashion week proves his reign is far from over. Although I wasn’t in attendance the pictures and film are heavenly. The bright colors and corky designs are flawless. Scott has the magic touch to mix out-there pieces with very wearable ones. To some this line may seem extreme but good thing Jeremy Scott doesn’t give a shit. He keeps you on your toes and you can’t deny you weren’t entertained.

Mister Scott, I love you and keep on doing exactly what you have been.

Adele.

If you haven't heard of Adele you have seriously been missing out and so have your ears. Her effortless voice is pure perfection. Every song gives you goosebumps she is just that good. Her performance at the brit awards is one that will truly go down in history.

London Fashion Week

A few roommates accompanied me to check out LFW yesterday. It was completely amazing. Although we didn't have badges to go inside we were surrounded by bloggers, photographers, and writers outside. We spent our days chatting with other fashion lovers and having our photos taken. Who doesn't love that?
I will be attending London Fashion Weekend tomorrow so much more catwalk news to come :)
I also got my photo taken for the style scout. if i'm lucky enough to make it on the site I will post.

J'adore

I recently got back to London after a 5 day school (London College of Fashion) trip to Paris. We got to do so much that it all seems to be a bit of a blur now. Some highlights were macaroons, going to Collete, and simply all the sights Paris has to offer.

I loved this picture i snapped while in the Jewish Quarter.

be sure to check out my other blog "broads abroad" (eandagoabroad.blogspot.com) to experience more about life in London and also in Florence

LOVE & LIBERTY

I FINALLY made my way to the Liberty of London store today and was blown away. Oscar Wilde got it right when he said "Liberty is the chosen resort of the artistic shopper." My only purchase of today was the new issue of LOVE magazine. The dual cover with Kate Moss and Justin Bieber had me hooked. The "androgyny" issue is perfection. I have saved the reading of it for my train ride to Paris tomorrow but it's hard to keep this magazine shut.

Liberty had a window display solely promoting LOVE&LIBERTY

Gin Wigmore.

Having my sister live in New Zealand opens tons of doors to finding new music. Gin Wigmore has already been in the music game for awhile but this female Mick Jagger is the shit. Her stunningly strange looks make her stand out alone but it's her jaw-dropping voice that tops all the rest. She doesn't sound like anyone else and her music simply kicks ass.

My two favorite of her songs are "These roses" which is a sweet love song where she states that she will " stay addicted to you" and also "oh My" which has a definite rock edge to it. "oh my god i've be beaten in the game of love. i've had two years in heaven and five weeks in hell" the music drops and you left following the claps with her chanting the previous words in her perfect accent before she finishes rocking out.

Window Shopping.

My lovely forecasting class went on an adventure yesterday to look for inspiration. We got the joy of sifting through tons of designer stores. This has taken window shopping to a whole other level.

First off is Stella McCartney. I LOVED the mannequins in the windows the giant flower heads are perfection and make the black and white outfits exciting and fresh.

Next up was the one and only Matthew Williamson. all of our tutors here adore him and always reference him in class.

Florence + the Machine

When presenting my idea to my class I drew a lot of inspiration from the Florence + the Machine music video "dogs days are over"
This video combines great music with gorgeous styling.
check out the video if you haven't seen it yet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWOyfLBYtuU)

I created a day & night look based off the "blue" girls in the video.

enjoy.

what is WILD?

it all started in class.
I'm currently taking classes at the London College of Fashion and my favorite class "start your own fashion magazine" has inspired me to make this blog. WILD. is currently my magazine that is in the works through my class. I wanted to do a magazine that really showed the relationship between music and fashion. The idea is that up and coming artists would style the shoots from concept all the way to the styling of clothes and accessories.
it's the dirty love story of music and fashion.
it's WILD.
